New sewing list for me!

Only one unsewn item remains in "current sewing list" so I will write the next one! These lists motivate me pretty well!
Really my backlog of ideas, wishing and sewing plans is huuuuuuuuge! Also I have a huge box of different UFOs so I decided to include them too in my current list so not only new projects will be realized.

New projects (from scratch)

Refashion, changing, repair etc

• To finish summer brown skirt
• Winter dress - need new long zipper
• To fix some technical issues in orange bag
• To finish changing of red Simplicity dress - decided to keep it like this, it is ok!
• To remove pockets on new red skirt (I don't like how they came out) - done (26/06)
• To change Asos dress to skirt - done (05/06)
• To look on the waist of new red dress (belt or alteration?)
• Repair a pocket of the bag - done! (28/06)
• Repair a lining of Semeon's jacket

I have to finish this list quickly because I want to make the next one and sew my coll ideas!%))

Cover for Kindle

We still have cold season here in Russia so I am still driving away at my fall-winter list%) I am sewing a blouse number 4 and trying to do my best to finish it in March, in this one!

I have been in 2 weeks' trip and before it I have made a cover for Kindle because this one is not mine so I didn't want to break it or scratch. So I tried to make some quick item.

Me-made Kindle cover

I didn't search for any tutorial so I made it with some mistakes but I will correct them in the next one - Semeon wants a cover for his scratched Kindle too%)

I put fusible interfacing for the inner side but it would be better to put it on the outer side. I made a pocket  in a hurry so it is not very straight. Also the central detail is little bit too wide.

I am very glad how my machine managed with sewing through all that thick layers. I put a padding polyester inside so there were 2 denim layer + padding + ribbon + thick facing! BTW next time I will cut out the facing without a seam allowance because it was very difficult to turn out this sandwich!

Topstiching

Facts:

• Fabric:  denim from old jeans, different leftovers
• Pattern: self-drafted 
• Notions: ribbon, button (from RTW clothes)
• Time to complete: 2,5 hours without any tea breaks%) 
• First worn:  28 Feb at home%)
• Wear again:  Of course!
• Total cost:  May be 0,25 euro for ribbon%)

December creations

Ohhh!! This is already 2013! I should make new plans for the year! But at first I should post my final creations of 2012 and sewing summary of 2012%) I guessed that I would finish my blue dress till Hew Year celebration but I didn't manage with it so it will be a creation of 2013%)

The main news is my finished legwarmers! I have started them  sooo long time ago that I even don't remember when exactly. I am very-very bad knitter! May be one day I will try to knit a jumper and I will do it in one year, not in 5%))

Red legwarmers

Suddenly I have made a tablecloth for New Year celebration. I was looking for something in my fabric stash and found a fabric which I bought pretty long time ago in Lithuania. I planned to make a dress or a skirt from it but now I have realized the fabric was too hard for clothes. So I was looking at it and decided to make a tablecloth. I think this was a fabric for this kind of stuff, not for dress.

And finally!! I have one old style suitcase, it was very ugly inside so I decided to change it little. Now I like it more! I will put in it some of my fabrics and patterns which I plan to do next so they will be in easy access!%)
